What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Technician II PT position at Lifeskills Group?
Shift Differential: Eligible for shift differential
The Mental Health Technician is the direct care staff of the Adult Crisis Stabilization Unit, which is a 24 hour program. Mental Health Technicians are responsible for ensuring the safety of the clients, coordinating mental health evaluations, answering 988 Lifeline calls, and maintaining client care.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Supervise residents ensuring that they are safe and secure at all times
Answering 988 Lifeline Calls
Document resident daily activities
Complete admission/discharges
Coordinate evaluations with clients and community partners
Engage with clients through recreational activities
Assist residents in utilizing acceptable coping skills
Contribute to general cleanliness of the facility
Supervise medication administration
Follow policies and procedures of the ACSU
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; acceptable background check (yearly)
