Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Current certification in a competency based CPR/First Aid Course.
Current certification in Medication Administration Level 1.
Training in preventing, detecting, and reporting of abuse and neglect.
Training in the implementation of (each individual’s current) service plan/addendums.
Training in a positive behavior support curriculum approved by the Division of DD.
Training in HIPAA Compliance and Client Confidentiality.
Training in Client’s Rights
Training in Home and Community Based Services (HCBS)
