Position Overview
The Children’s Pastor/Director leads the children’s ministry at a Lifepoint campus, creating environments where kids can experience Jesus, parents can feel confident and supported, and leaders can find meaningful opportunities to serve and grow.
This role owns the spiritual health, leadership development, culture, and execution of the children’s ministry at the campus. They build and develop strong volunteer teams, create safe and engaging ministry environments, partner with parents, and ensure the Lifepoint mission, values, and culture are consistently experienced by every child and family.
This is more than a programming role. It is a pastor, leader, and team builder role for someone who loves kids, develops people, pursues excellence, and takes ownership of helping the next generation take their next step toward life in Jesus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of children’s ministry at the campus
(birth through elementary) - Create fun, engaging, and safe environments for kids
- Recruit, train, and lead volunteer teams
- Partner with parents to support their child’s spiritual growth
- Ensure excellence in every environment
(check-in, classrooms, safety, communication) - Develop leaders and build a healthy team culture
- Align with Lifepoint’s vision, systems, and Next Gen strategy

Experience
- Experience serving or leading in children’s ministry preferred
- Experience building and leading teams
