The Operations Consultant will be responsible for the total operations of the rehabilitation program, working directly with the Area Director of Operations. The Operations Consultant will plan, direct and coordinate program activities to ensure that company and client goals are met. The Operations Consultant will demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, problem solving, accountable for carrying out all responsibilities and has the authority to extend offers of employment and to dismiss from employment, pending approval from the Area Director of Operations.

- Ensure for program staffing, team supervision and development.
- Oversee the daily operations and performance of the rehabilitation program.
- Lead and motivate interdisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement program strategies to support census growth and performance improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with client partners to maintain positive relationships and achieve shared goals.
- Monitor and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Participate in program development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Accountable for vacancy, turnover and productivity of program staff.
- Promote adherence to policies and practices of applicable professional organizations, client hospital organizations
- Make recommendations on hiring and disciplinary actions, including authority to extend employment offers and recommend terminations
- Ensure all staff are familiar with, and act in accordance with contents of applicable governmental and professional codes, company SOP/handbook, unit P&P and hospital/organization policies.
- Supervise the development of improved efficiency and productivity of unit clinical/administrative functions.
- Develop unit operating and capital budget for client hospital.
- Maintain positive working relationship with client hospital.
- Ensures the unit has a comprehensive performance Improvement/ quality management program.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a health related or
business administration and/or have current Clinical Licensure (RN, L-PC, LCSW).
Additional requirements include:
Proven management experience in a healthcare or human services setting, or extensive rehabilitation background.
Experience working with a geriatric or disabled population highly desirable.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive change effectively and efficiently.
High level of flexibility and adaptability to different environments.
Must be willing and able to travel 90-100% of the time.
