The Crisis Center Program Administrator (PA), working collaboratively under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Crisis Services, is

responsible for the treatment and oversight of crisis programming for LifePath Systems’ 24/7 Crisis Respite Unit (CRU) and Extended Observation

Unit (EOU). The Crisis Center PA actively works as a part of the Crisis Division leadership to ensure success and achievement of the Center’s

overall goals, mission, and vision. This position ensures service excellence by providing management overview of the two units, oversees

staffing/case reviews as the member of the interdisciplinary team, and manages referral proficiency from internal and external partners. The Crisis

Center PA ensures appropriate staffing on the units and person-centered programing that promotes rapid crisis stabilization and coordination to

ongoing behavioral health services. This position is responsible for development and management of budgets, including IDD respite invoicing,

budget oversight, and diversion match tracking. The Crisis Center PA will be responsible for strategizing and implementing the growth and

expansion initiatives for the Crisis Center.

Key responsibilities include maintaining bed capacity, maintaining relationships and oversight of contracted paraprofessional staff, and supervision

of a diverse workforce across various professional levels. Ensures supervision and monitoring of service delivery measures. This position is

responsible for providing services to individuals on the unit that may include intake assessments, diagnosing, daily check-ins, psychosocial

rehabilitation, skills training, and discharge planning as needed. The Crisis Center Program Administrator is responsible for tracking and monitoring

workforce members’ services provided in accordance with TRR guidelines as well as the need of the individual and within their level of care (LOC).

This position ensures services are provided in accordance with the Texas Administrative Code (TAC) and Information Item V, including timely

services as well as documentation is entered accurately and timely. Oversee all coordination of services including effective and timely hospital and

community referrals and coordination of outpatient services. Establishes effective coordination of interdisciplinary team meetings across programs,

providers, and community resources to ensure services are delivered with person centered, trauma informed, and least restrictive mindset. The

Crisis Center PA will maintain quality assurance initiatives that include review of records, development and revision of procedures and protocols,

and training standards to promote good customer service, positive outcomes, and services excellence for individuals served. The Crisis Center

Program Administrator develops and presents reporting of Crisis Center outcomes, as well as providing feedback for opportunities of improvement

to Behavioral Health Leadership. This position responds to complaints of individuals served and their families, community presentation/public

speaking engagements, responsible for good working relationships with community service organizations and advocacy groups. Other duties as

assigned to best fit program needs.

Expectations include: Ensuring regular team meetings and monthly individual one-on-one supervision with direct reports. Management of

performance and contractual metrics for all contracts held. Ensure 90% of full chart reviews receive a score of 80 or higher and teams meet service

delivery and documentation measures. Reviews incident reports and internal and external audits for corrective action measures. Completes

assigned dashboards and maintains budgets monthly. Personnel action of assigned teams (evaluation, review of PTO request and approval of time

sheets, coaching’s, trainings, and disciplinary action as needed) is completed timely. Leads the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring process to fill

all vacant positions promptly and efficiently, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and values.

If Bilingual and receiving stipend, employee will be available to translate for other staff as needed and will utilize approved language in the provision

of services as needed.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field WITH unrestricted license as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of Texas OR

bachelor’s degree in nursing WITH unrestricted Registered Nurse License in Texas.

  • Consideration of licensed intern/associate or bachelor’s degree in a human services field WITH minimum 5 years’ supervisory of

experience in a LMHA/LBHA.

  • A minimum of three years’ leadership experience in community health services including supervision of multiple staff including clinical,

nursing, and support.

  • Experience working in an acute care setting, preferably respite, residential, or behavioral health inpatient setting highly preferred.
  • Additional experience in development and management of budgets, design of processes and systems for delivering community-based

services and coordination with a large management structure and stakeholder groups desired.
