Training & Curriculum Development Specialist

Position Overview
Blue Livin’ Supports is seeking a Training & Curriculum Development Specialist to support and enhance daily program delivery across our life skills and community-based programs. This role works collaboratively with coaches to develop engaging trainings, strengthen consistency, and improve overall instructional quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update training modules aligned with program domains (life skills, social skills, and more)
- Create structured lesson plans and ready-to-use training materials
- Collaborate with coaches on weekly training planning and implementation
- Observe trainings and provide supportive, strengths-based feedback
- Facilitate staff development and “train-the-trainer” sessions
- Maintain and organize a training library (templates, materials, and resources)
Qualifications
- Experience in curriculum development, training, or instructional design
- Experience working in classroom, educational, or structured learning environments
- Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to use Microsoft tools to stay organized and support staff consistently
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Services, Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field preferred
- Education or equivalent professional experience in life skills training, habilitation, education, or staff development will be considered
