2026 SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM – Quality Engineering
The LifeNet Health summer internship is a paid ($20/hour) program and includes project work that aligns with our mission Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The projects are designed to engage active learning, provide mentor relationships and leadership development over the course of a 10-week program. As a fun bonus, our interns are provided with 8 weeks of golf lessons and a set of clubs to use during the internship program with an end-of-program golf tournament!
The Quality Engineering internship project will provide you with hands-on experience in a corporate environment where you will be exposed to the multiple functions of the Purchasing team to support the business and drive corporate initiatives.

Project Details/Training
- You will map quality workflows, noting decision points and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- You will develop statistical process control charts for metrics.
- You will develop a living visual management dashboard for the KPIs.
- You will support the development of a standardized packaging defect classification framework to strengthen incoming inspection and supplier quality oversite for medical grade packaging materials.
- You will create visual standards and inspection aids.
- You must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree. Statistics coursework preferred.
- You must be a rising junior, senior, or a recent graduate in 2026.
- You must be available to commit to the 10-week program (June 1 – August 7), full-time, 40 hours/week.
