Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) support individuals with intellectual and development disabilities to lead self-directed lives and actively participate and thrive in our community. DSPs support with household chores like cleaning and meal preparation, support personal health routines, provide and support community access, and help the people we support explore hobbies and interests while developing life skills.
DSPs learn, teach, explore, contribute, and discover every day.
Qualified candidate must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and be able pass a state mandated background check. Strong communication skills (verbal and written), patience, empathy, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a strong work ethic are also required.
lifempowered provides support 24/7, which means most employees do not have the weekend or holidays off. We currently have full and part-time opportunities available. A variety of shifts are available. We attempt to match individual availability with agency needs.
