Position Summary
Lifeguard Press is seeking a motivated, analytical, and growth-focused Amazon Marketplace Specialist to support the continued growth of our Amazon marketplace business. Working cross-functionally with internal creative, marketing, and advertising teams to identify opportunities for improving listings, increasing visibility, and driving marketplace growth; this role supports marketplace operations, product performance analysis, listing optimization, and marketplace growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable working with data, and eager to help improve product performance within Amazon’s ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
Amazon Marketplace Management
- Create, manage, and optimize Amazon product listings
- Monitor listing health, catalog issues, and account performance
- Support product launches, promotions, and marketplace initiatives
- Maintain accurate product content, keywords, and backend data
- Help ensure listings remain competitive, accurate, and optimized for conversion
Inventory & Replenishment Support
- Assist with Amazon inventory planning and replenishment activities to help maintain healthy stock levels
- Support shipment preparation and replenishment workflows in coordination with internal teams
- Monitor inventory performance, stock levels, and product demand trends to help prevent stockouts and overstock situations
- Help track replenishment timelines and support ongoing marketplace operations related to inventory management
Advertising, Analytics & Marketplace Growth
- Analyze Amazon sales, advertising, and marketplace data to identify trends and growth opportunities
- Monitor KPIs including conversion rates, product rankings, ACoS, TACoS, ROAS, and overall sales performance
- Support Amazon promotions, coupons, events, and merchandising initiatives to help drive product sales
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to improve search visibility and conversion rates
- Use internal software tools to optimize and A/B test product listings, keywords, titles, bullet points, and content
- Continuously improve listings and product performance using marketplace data, search trends, and customer insights
- Work with internal teams and external advertising partners to support marketplace growth initiatives
Content & Listing Optimization
- Identify opportunities to improve product listings, imagery, and customer experience
- Collaborate with internal creative teams to improve listing presentation and A content
- Monitor competitor listings and marketplace trends to recommend content improvements
Problem Solving & Operations
- Troubleshoot Amazon listing and operational issues
- Navigate Amazon’s evolving platform and adapt quickly to marketplace changes
- Take ownership of assigned projects and follow through to completion
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and marketplace performance
Other Projects and Duties as assigned
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising, or Marketing preferred
- 1 - 2 years’ hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and/or eCommerce preferred
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets (required)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify trends and growth opportunities through marketplace and advertising data
- Comfortable interpreting data and identifying trends and opportunities
- Self-Starter with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset and a willingness to learn
- Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization with the ability to work quickly and effectively under deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills (English required)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working across teams and projects
- A continuous improvement mindset focused on optimizing product performance and overall sales growth
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting within Amazon’s constantly evolving platform
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit and work at a computer for the duration of shift
- Must be able to lift and carry packages up to 25 pounds
