What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician/Yard Care Specialist position at LifeCare Medical Center?
Highlights of your role:
The Maintenance Technician assists the Facilities Management Director with the repairs and upkeep of the physical building and the grounds and equipment; is also responsible for the painting and decorating of the building itself. The Helper will assist the Director as needed.

Job Details:
Location: Greenbush Manor
Shift: Day shift, 8am -4:30pm
FTE: Summer help, June 1st-Sept.1st
Weekends: as needed
Holidays: as needed
*Pay Range:18.36-23.87
*It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case and on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay is just one part of the compensation package for employees.
What you’ll get to do in this role:
Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, as directed.
General facility upkeep such as repairing doors, walls, floors, ceilings, and other related building upkeep & repairs.
Upkeep of grounds, including mowing, trimming, and snow removal.
You’re an excellent fit, if you have:
- current valid MN driver's license
- ability to follow written & verbal instruction
- ability to climb ladders and scaffolding
