Job Purpose:
- Performing direct support services as established upon completion of the admission assessment. The Home Care Support Floater will provide essential services to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while supporting their daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide light housekeeping services to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Perform errand services including grocery shopping, picking up medication, and paying bills to support clients' daily needs.
- Deliver and complete required client and agency documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Utilize mature judgment and sensitivity in interactions with older adults, families, and the community, while working with minimal supervision.
- Maintain effective working relationships with LifeCare staff, clients, and other community agencies to ensure coordinated care.
- Document and maintain confidential records in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Required Experience:
- 2 years of general housekeeping experience, either residential, corporate, or medical facility-related
Preferred Experience:
- Community health care service experience with culturally diverse and/or elderly populations
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to use mature judgment and be sensitive to older adults, family, and community
- Capability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with LifeCare staff, clients, and other community agencies
- Ability to document and maintain confidential records
