Role Description
This position supports the Development team through coordination of Development Services activities, donor engagement support, event logistics, and Development-related marketing and communications connected to fundraising initiatives. The role serves as a central operational support function within the Development department and provides primary logistical support for internal and external Development events in partnership with the Development Events Coordinator, as well as communications coordination with the Marketing Manager on Development-related outreach initiatives.
This position works closely with the Chief Development Officer, Development Events Coordinator, Database and Board Relations Coordinator, and Marketing Manager to support the execution of fundraising campaigns, events, donor outreach activities, and communications initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal Skills to build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and team members
- Analytical Skills to assess campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Effective Communication skills, including writing, presenting, and engaging with diverse audiences
- Experience or knowledge in Fundraising and organizing events to secure financial support
- Research abilities to identify potential donors and sponsors and gather insights to inform strategies
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in donor management software or similar CRM tools is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Familiarity with the nonprofit sector and a passion for serving the community
