Summary
The Rehabilitation Institute at Sinai is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY: Promotes the successful operations of admissions to both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. Listens, provides timely feedback, and maintains patient confidentiality. Completes assigned work to enable the operations of the Admissions department to flow smoothly. Demonstrates teamwork with all customers and co-workers. Successfully completes all assigned courses, Hospital in-services, and training classes for assigned duties. Contact patients prior to visit, while in-house, or post discharge to discuss resolution of estimated total liability. This is accomplished by phone calls, written correspondence and floor visits.
REQUIREMENTS: Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills; High School Diploma, GED equivalent or High School certificate. 1-3 years of experience.
