Life Works is seeking dedicated individuals to join our caregiving team as a full- or part-time Direct Care Professional in San Diego, CA. You will have the opportunity to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them to live independently and participate fully in their communities.
Competitive Pay: This caregiving position offers starting hourly pay between $21 and $24, with the convenience of dispatching directly from your home to your job site.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:
As a full- or part-time Direct Care Professional, you will begin each day by traveling directly from your home to the home of the individual you are supporting. Your responsibilities will include assisting adults with daily living tasks, supporting household management, providing medication reminders, and facilitating participation in community activities and appointments. You will be documenting the services provided while promoting independence, personal choice, and active involvement in community life.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Compassion and reliability
- Comfortable supporting individuals at home and in the community
- Willingness to learn and provide individualized support
Previous experience is helpful but not required. Training is provided!
SCHEDULE:
Positions are available for both full-time and part-time employment. Shifts are available 7 days a week, at all segments of the day, evening and overnight. Shifts vary based on the support needs of each team, so you can specify your preferred hours.
