Responsibilities:
- Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications
- Accurately enter and process prescription orders
- Maintain patient records and manage inventory
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues
- Answer phones and assist customers with prescription and pharmacy-related inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
- Multitask effectively while handling various duties simultaneously
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace
Qualifications:
- Active TN Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)and state license (as required)
- Previous pharmacy technician experience strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work well in a team and handle a dynamic workflow
