Master Swim instructor

Position Summary

The Master Instructor is a lead Instructor in their club and known nationally for their high talent level. They mentor and train new Instructors and assist with continuing education sessions.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager by having new Instructors shadow their classes.
• Mentor underperforming Swim Instructors (those who score less than 80% on an eval)
• Complete, Assist, and Co-Lead Continuing Education Session
• Teach Swim Lessons, atleast two shifts per week. Must have consistent attendance consistently score a 93% or higher.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Lifeguard & CPR Certified
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20lbs
• Successfully complete and pass all Life Time courses upon hire
• CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days of hire
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience
