Job description:
Life Support International (LSI) specializes in providing the finest aviation Safety, Survival & Rescue equipment available on the market today. The combined experience of the LSI Staff enables LSI to address a wide range of disciplines relative to the design and development of life support equipment. The Shipping and Receiving Specialist is responsible for receiving and verification of all LSI deliveries. This includes maintaining the shipping/receiving log.
Duties of the Shipping and Receiving Specialist:
- Receives all shipments to LSI in accordance with LSI Policies and Procedures
- Reviews all shipments for accuracy
- Completes and forwards all receiving paperwork to further processing
- Receive deliveries and issue receiving tickets
- Control movement and storage of all LSI inventory
- Place products in correct locations
- Pull items from inventory for outgoing shipments
- Maintain shipping/receiving log
- Properly package and label cartons for shipping
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 3 to 5 Years Experience in Shipping and Receiving
- Inventory Control Experience
- Hazmat Shipping Experience
Skills Required:
- Computer - Microsoft Excel and Word
- Acumatica or similar ERP system
- Experience with domestic and international shipping requirements
