Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Cadillac or Big Rapids, MI. The counselor will provide mental health care to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, offering relationship counseling, conducting assessments, managing cases, and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs. Active participation in team collaboration and maintaining comprehensive clinical records is expected.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Treatment Planning and Case Management to deliver tailored care to clients
- Strong knowledge of Mental Health practices, Psychology, and counseling techniques
- Proficiency in Relationship Counseling and working with families, individuals, or couples
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- License to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychologist (LP), or Limited Licensed Psychologist (LLP), with adherence to all state licensing requirements
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field
- Prior experience in outpatient therapy settings is preferred
