We are seeking a compassionate and relational Director of Family & Community Relations to serve as the bridge between families and our school community. Position Summary
The Director of Family & Community Relations oversees family engagement, student support, and community connection. This person serves as the primary point of contact for family concerns, behavioral or relational issues, and family interviews — helping ensure that Life Prep remains a caring, connected, and Christ-honoring environment.
This role offers flexibility and variety, with opportunities to shape family culture, plan community events, and provide guidance to both staff and parents.

Key Responsibilities
Family Support & Parent Communication
- Serve as the first point of contact for family concerns, questions, or sensitive situations
- Facilitate family interviews and onboarding for new students
- Partner with teachers and coordinators to address behavioral or emotional challenges
- Provide resources, encouragement, and biblical guidance for parents
- Handle all communication with professionalism, empathy, and discretion
Student & Behavioral Support
- Collaborate with staff to implement positive behavior plans and restorative practices
- Support consistency with Life Prep’s behavioral covenant
- Assist with student conflict resolution and mediation
- Encourage and pray with students and families as appropriate
Community & Event Coordination
- Organize family events, parent workshops, and community service projects
- Build partnerships with local churches and organizations
- Develop initiatives that strengthen relationships and school culture
Culture & Communication
- Promote Life Prep’s mission and values in every interaction
- Provide regular updates and support to the regional director
- Support a unified, faith-based culture across all campuses

Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Calm, empathetic, and solution-oriented in difficult situations
- Experience in education, ministry, counseling, or family services (preferred)
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Deep personal faith and alignment with Life Prep’s mission
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and campuses
