Senior Director of Marketing and Public Relations

Role Description The Senior Director of Marketing and Public Relations serves as the lead strategist for all marketing, communications, public relations, branding, and community engagement efforts for the Collier Community Foundation, the Women's Foundation of Collier County, and affiliated initiatives. This position is responsible for advancing the organization's visibility, reputation, donor engagement, and community impact through integrated communications and strategic storytelling.  

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations strategies that support organizational priorities and increase community awareness.
• Provide strategic communications counsel to the President/CEO and leadership team.
• Maintain and strengthen the Foundation's brand identity, messaging, and public image across all platforms and audiences.
• Lead media relations efforts, including press releases, media outreach, interviews, public announcements, and crisis communications.
• Oversee development of marketing materials, publications, annual reports, newsletters, digital communications, presentations, videos, and other brand assets.
• Direct website, social media, email marketing, and digital content strategies to increase engagement and visibility.
• Work with designers, photographers, videographers, writers, and other creative professionals to produce high-quality marketing and communications materials.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, marketing plans, and communications calendars.
• Collaborate with development, donor services, grantmaking, scholarship, and program staff to communicate Foundation impact, donor stories, grant outcomes, and community initiatives.
• Provide communications leadership and support for Foundation, Women's Foundation, donor, advisor, board, and community events.
• Oversee production of branded collateral, event materials, promotional merchandise, signage, and recognition materials.
• Maintain relationships with media partners, corporate sponsors, community organizations, and professional associations.
• Represent the Foundation in community, civic, philanthropic, and professional organizations.
• Supervise external marketing vendors and consultants as needed.
• Provide staff support to the Women's Foundation of Collier County as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
