What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietitian position at LIFE Pittsburgh?
Description
About LIFE Pittsburgh
LIFE Pittsburgh is a growing nonprofit organization with nearly 400 dedicated team members who believe that aging should never mean giving up independence, dignity, or connection. We are a community-based alternative to nursing home care, supporting frail older adults so they can remain safely in their homes and lead meaningful lives in the communities they love.
Each day, our care teams—comprised of physicians, nurses, social workers, rehabilitation specialists, and more—come together with one shared purpose: to wrap our Participants in a circle of care that sees them, hears them, and honors the lives they’ve lived. Whether through our Day Health Centers or in-home programs, we tailor our services around each Participant’s goals, not just their medical needs.
What We Offer
We are seeking a Registered Dietitian who understands that a meal can be medicine, that dignity is preserved when someone feels seen in their dietary needs, and that good nutrition is a cornerstone of great care. In this role, you’ll do more than manage meal plans—you’ll contribute to lives filled with purpose, connection, and wellness.
This role offers the opportunity to pair clinical expertise with compassionate service, leading the planning and oversight of nutritional care while managing safe, person-centered dietary operations in collaboration with our Interdisciplinary Team.
