Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality output. This includes managing and scheduling staff, coordinating activities to meet production targets, and enforcing strict safety and sanitation standards while minimizing waste. In a beverage environment, the supervisor leads the blending and packaging processes, ensuring consistent and accurate batching procedures.

Responsibilities:

· Supervise and coordinate cellaring/blending and repack line activities to meet production schedules and product specifications.

· Lead and manage a team of blenders and operators by providing clear daily direction, coaching, training, and performance feedback to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment across blending and packaging operations.

· Foster a positive, collaborative team culture that aligns with company values and supports productivity.

· Monitor and adjust blending and formulation processes to maintain consistency, product integrity, and efficiency.

· Monitor production metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement strategies to enhance performance and reduce downtime.

· Collaborate with the Maintenance team to address equipment issues promptly and minimize operational disruptions.

· Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality beverages and seltzer products.

· Conduct regular inspections of packaging processes, materials, and batching operations to ensure compliance with company standards, GMP, food safety regulations, and sanitation requirements.

· Verify and document accurate ingredient usage, lot tracking, and batch records for cellaring.

· Oversee accurate input of end-of-day production numbers and ensure proper documentation is maintained.

· Create and update processes, SOPs, and procedures.

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, streamline workflows, and improve inventory accuracy.

· Prioritize and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment for all team members.

· Conduct regular safety meetings, address concerns, and promote a strong culture of safety awareness.

· Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Scheduling, and Logistics.

· Generate and deliver reports on production metrics, downtime, quality performance, and operational issues to management.

· Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· At least 1-year proven supervisory experience; beverage or packing environment preferred.

· Strong leadership skills and knowledge of food safety regulations preferred.

· Mechanical aptitude/ability to troubleshoot.

· Able to lift 50 lbs. comfortably

· Ability to bend, kneel, reach, twist, and climb ladders

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, non climate-controlled environment

· Must be able to stand for duration of shift

Other Skills and experience:

· Computer literacy (MS Office and Google Workspace)

· Strong communication skills; Strong verbal and interpersonal skills

· Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively

· Able to operate various forklift types

· Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

· Strong problem-solving, critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Supervising: 1 year (Required)
  • Food & beverage manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Overnight Shift (Preferred)
  • Night Shift (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
