What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Specialist position at Life Home Care?
We are a rapidly growing private home care agency seeking a dedicated and dynamic HR Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate will be passionate about people, recruitment, and community outreach. Experience in the home care industry, especially with recruiting Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs), is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, and hire qualified caregivers and field staff.
- Conduct thorough onboarding for all new hires, ensuring all employment and health documentation is completed and compliant.
- Maintain and audit personnel files to ensure ongoing compliance with state, federal, and agency regulations.
- Track attendance and assist with enforcing related agency policies.
- Develop and implement creative recruiting strategies to attract and retain caregivers.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and HR support across the agency.
Qualifications:
- Previous HR or recruiting experience required; experience in home care or healthcare strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable engaging with the community.
- Proficiency in WellSky and Paycom is a plus.
