Shift Available: Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 9 am - 5 pm
What is your role? The Lead Home Service Assistant demonstrates a personal and professional commitment to work with clients (residents, members, and patients) to maintain physical, emotional, intellectual, vocational, spiritual, and social needs. This position provides care and services that support a client's needs, allowing them to function at the highest level possible, while creating and maintaining an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment for the clients. In addition, the Lead Home Service Assistant will assist with training and mentoring Home Service Assistants during and following the onboarding process. This position requires excellent communication skills with team members, clients, and family members and a high level of patience and compassion for others.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a Home Services position, preferred
- Good computer skills, including use of email and data entry
- Must possess a customer service background and orientation
- Valid Ohio driver's license required

Here's what you're responsible for:
- Performs all essential functions of Home Services Assistant
- Assist in the orientation of associates to Home Services as directed, to client service plans and documentation in the system; work alongside associates to explain and demonstrate skills and duties to ensure a clear understanding of expectations for the care of clients
- Answering phone calls
- Performing monthly billing
- Update the client's service plans as directed, in the system
- Identify education and training needs of associates in Home Services; provide input in standardizing processes
- Communicate schedule changes, as directed
- Other duties, as assigned by the Home Service Manager/ Home Services Coordinator.
