Responsibilities

As a Health Services Dining Server, you’ll ensure residents and guests enjoy quality meals in a welcoming and respectful environment. Your responsibilities include:

• Serve meals to residents in their rooms and dining areas with warmth, accuracy, and respect for individual dietary needs.
• Set up trays and dining areas; distribute and collect menus with a friendly and helpful attitude.
• Restock supplies and prepare for each meal service to ensure a smooth and welcoming dining experience.
• Complete daily cleaning tasks, wash dishes, and monitor food and equipment temperatures to keep dining and service areas clean, safe, and inviting.
• Deliver food from the Main Kitchen with care, ensuring presentation and quality
• Creating a positive and responsive dining experience for residents and guests
• Understanding and implementing departmental standards for service and safety
• Communicating effectively with culinary and service teams to ensure accuracy and satisfaction
• Assisting with dining room setup, cleanliness, and resetting tables between meal services
• Maintaining awareness of resident needs and requests
  
  

Requirements

• Some high school education preferred
• Prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
• Strong customer service skills and positive attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Reliable attendance and attention to detail
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
