Position Overview:
Exciting Opportunity in AV: Program AV Technician
Are you passionate about education and technology? We are looking for a motivated individual with a technical background to join our educational program team for a few months and make a real impact in schools across New Jersey.
About the Role:
As a Program Operator, you will:
- Drive to schools across New Jersey and set up projection system and sound equipment (training will be provided).
- Screen educational films and oversee the technical aspects of the program.
- Engage with large groups of children by providing a brief explanation of the activity (training will be provided).
- Start your day early, arriving at schools by 6:00 AM (travel typically begins around 5:00 AM, depending on location).
- Work 4-7 hours at a school, 5 times per week, based on program needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Technical Skills: A good technical aptitude for handling equipment setup and troubleshooting (training will be provided).
- Public Speaking: Confidence to stand in front of large groups and deliver brief, engaging introductions to the program.
- Reliable and Committed: Ability to maintain punctuality and professionalism.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver’s license.
