We’re looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to keep standards high, guide our team, and make sure every guest space feels fresh, inviting, and undeniably Standard.

The Role

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you’re both a leader and a hands-on support for the team. You’ll oversee daily operations, inspect guest rooms and public areas, and ensure that every detail, from linens to lobbies, meets hotel standards. You’ll train, motivate, and guide your team, resolve issues as they arise, and keep the flow of communication between Housekeeping and Front Desk seamless.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise, train, motivate, and support Room Attendants and Housepersons

• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards

• Assign daily tasks, schedules, and shift coverage to ensure smooth operations

• Assist with daily operations when needed, stepping in to clean, restock, or turn rooms during peak periods

• Respond to and resolve guest concerns related to housekeeping promptly and professionally

• Work closely with the Front Desk team on room priorities, early arrivals, late checkouts, and special requests

• Ensure proper handling and safe use of cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment

• Maintain housekeeping supply inventory, oversee ordering, and issue supplies to staff as needed

• Support recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding for new housekeeping team members

• Recommend staff promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions in partnership with leadership

• Promote a safe, positive, and team-oriented work environment

Who You Are

• At least 2 years of housekeeping experience, with prior supervisory or team-lead experience preferred

• Strong leadership skills: able to train, delegate, organize, and follow through with confidence

• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal, written, reading)

• Calm under pressure with sound judgment and problem-solving skills

• Tech-comfortable: working knowledge of common computer programs and housekeeping systems

• Detail-oriented, with expertise in proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and chemical handling

• Professional, discreet, and respectful of guest privacy and property

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand and walk for extended periods

• Capable of bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching as part of daily duties

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and handling housekeeping equipment safely

• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
