What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plaintiff Personal Injury - Paralegal position at Licatesi Law Group, LLP?
We are seeking an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Paralegal to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of hands-on personal injury experience and be confident managing cases from inception through resolution, including both pre-litigation and litigation matters.
This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and support staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury files from intake through settlement or trial
- Handle pre-litigation tasks including:
- Client intake and communication
- Medical records and billing requests
- Demand preparation and settlement negotiations support
- Assist with litigation, including:
- Drafting pleadings, discovery, and subpoenas
- Trial preparation and calendaring deadlines
- Coordinating with courts, experts, and opposing counsel
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation
- Communicate professionally with clients, providers, and insurance adjusters
Qualifications
- 4–5 years of plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience (required)
- Proven ability to manage files independently from start to finish
- Strong knowledge of pre-litigation and litigation procedures
- Experience using SmartAdvocate (required or strongly preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
