Essential Functions And Responsibilites
- Process files produced from static and variable data files using digital print equipment including digital press and wide format printing equipment.
- Digitally manipulating color calibration set-up to meet expectations for color target.
- Reviewing all proofs and final product samples produced on digital equipment before releasing to internal customers.
- Conduct regular and special maintenance on equipment to achieve maximum machine performance based on equipment specifications and acquired knowledge of machine operations.
- Record maintenance and service calls in maintenance logbook as required.
- Train on other machinery in Printing and Mailing Services to assist with operational workflow.
- Run the coater for any project that goes into the mail.
- Help keep paper room organized and stocked.
- Order inks and other consumables needed for your assigned machine.
- Help keep up and maintain a training guide for each printing device.
- Assist with mailing projects, using equipment/software used to complete projects.
- Other duties as necessary.
- Strictly adheres to Liberty University policies, representing the University in an exemplary manner.
- Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering LU’s Christian model and Mission – Training Champions for Christ.
- This is a non-supervisory role.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year experience working in a commercial print environment is required.
- Experience in conventional and digital processes is preferred.

- Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to convey messages and correspond in an articulate and professional manner.
- Possess public communication skills that allow professional representation of Liberty University.
