Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Summary 

Lead the analysis and delivery of business solutions by gathering and documenting requirements, mapping business processes, and assisting with solution implementation using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, applying strong communication and problem-solving skills to accelerate requirement delivery and ensure system alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations. 

Responsibilities/Duties 

• Take ownership of projects by rapidly decomposing them into actionable requirements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of specifications that drive project success.


• Facilitate project requirement discovery sessions, workshops, and meetings with cross-functional teams.


• Create wireframes and process flow diagrams to visualize, analyze and document business processes, requirements, use cases and user stories.


• Communicate requirements to stakeholders and team members.


• Work together with developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.


• Ensure project objectives are met by creating requirement traceability with user test case scenarios and solution review.


• Work together with quality assurance to complete testing, resolve defects, and support the business in user acceptance testing execution and sign-off.


• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver project requirements from ideation to testing, demo, and post-release support.


• Ensure all business analyst project artifacts align with PMO standards and objectives.


• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.


• Proactively identify and communicate project risks, issues, and dependencies to project manager.  

Qualifications  

• Solid knowledge and understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.


• Skilled in project management tools (Azure DevOps preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, UX design tools (Figma), video conferencing platforms (MS Teams, Zoom).


• Proficient in gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.


• Experience with creating wireframes and process flows.


• Experience with developing OCM material such as release notes, knowledgebase articles, job aids, training videos, 


• Effective communication and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams that are geographically dispersed.


• Detail-oriented, self-driven, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Education and Experience 

• BA/BS Degree


• 3 years’ proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in an Agile environment.

Physical Requirements 

Position requires working at a desk at an office for periods of time up to eight hours, with an option to work remotely on Friday.
