JOB SUMMARY
This position is for a Registered Nurse, Unit Coordinator whose responsibility is to coordinate the day-to-day patient care activities to patients receiving therapeutic and diagnostic services in Medical Surgical Services. The position reports to the Director of Medical Surgical Services.
Qualifications:JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of an associate degree in nursing required.
Formal Training: Clinical competence in nursing required.
Licensure, Certifications & Registration: Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Georgia; BLS certification required; ACLS & PALS certification required within 90 days of employment.
Work Experience: Advanced technical nursing skills. Intermediate knowledge of the nursing process. Basic cardiac arrhythmia identification skills. Basic computer skills. Minimum of two (2) years of medical surgical experience required/CCU experience or equivalent preferred.
