This role is ideal for technically driven engineers who specialize in cooling and heat transfer system design, thrive in power generation systems, data centers, industrial gas processing plants, LNG processing, and critical facility infrastructure applications, that seek full ownership of the engineering cycle; developing complex cooling processes and performing detailed thermal analysis to commissioning advanced engineered-to-order systems for high-performance and industrial environments.
Qualifications
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required.
• B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in thermal system design or process equipment engineering for power, energy, or industrial applications.
• Strong command of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and system hydraulics; experience with finite element or flow modeling preferred.
• Working knowledge of ASME pressure vessel design, API standards, and mechanical equipment specification practices.
Responsibilities
• Perform detailed heat transfer, thermodynamic, and fluid flow calculations to define cooling system performance requirements.
• Develop and validate designs for heat exchangers, condensers, de-aerators, fans, pumps, ejectors, and steam control systems.
• Prepare complete technical specifications, datasheets, and bid packages for custom-engineered cooling and thermal equipment.
• Conduct thermal and hydraulic performance analyses using FEA/CFD modeling and analytical tools.
• Review supplier designs for mechanical integrity, system efficiency, and compliance with ASME codes.
• Support fabrication, factory testing, and field commissioning, ensuring equipment meets design and performance criteria.
• Collaborate across engineering disciplines to optimize process cooling and power plant thermal management systems.
