Structural Engineer – Buildings | Queens, NY
A growing structural engineering consulting firm in Queens is looking to add a Structural Engineer with 5 years of building design experience to its team.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse mix of commercial, residential, institutional, and mixed-use projects from design through construction. Candidates should have experience with structural analysis, steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design, along with proficiency in structural design software and AutoCAD/Revit. PE license or the ability to obtain one is highly preferred.
Requirements:
- 5 years of structural building design experience
- BS or MS in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
- Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, and NYC Building Code
- Experience with structural analysis/design software and AutoCAD/Revit
- PE license preferred
