Structural Engineer – Commercial

An established engineering firm is seeking a Structural Engineer to support commercial and industrial building projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects including education, healthcare, hospitality, office, religious, and other commercial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for commercial projects
• Perform structural calculations (steel, concrete, and other materials)
• Develop construction documents, drawings, specifications, and reports
• Utilize structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD, Enercalc, etc.)
• Create and coordinate models/drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
• Participate in client meetings and support project proposals and presentations
• Conduct site observations and prepare related documentation
• Provide guidance and oversight to production staff
• Manage multiple project deadlines effectively
  
  

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• 3 years of relevant structural engineering experience
• PE license in Kansas preferred or actively pursuing licensure
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Experience with RISA, STAAD, Enercalc, or similar structural analysis software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
