Key Responsibilities
- Own full project lifecycle execution for electrical power equipment projects, from contract kickoff through final delivery and closeout
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, internal engineering teams, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics
- Manage project schedules, budgets, milestones, and risk mitigation plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Coordinate technical scope related to power transformers, switchgear, and electrical distribution assemblies, ensuring alignment with customer specifications
- Facilitate internal design reviews and cross-functional coordination to resolve scope, material, or production constraints
- Track and manage change orders, scope adjustments, and commercial impacts throughout project execution
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as ANSI, IEEE, NEMA, NEC, and customer-specific requirements
- Support factory testing, inspections, and delivery logistics as needed
- Proactively identify project risks and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality
- Maintain clear project documentation, reporting, and executive-level communication
- 8 years of experience in project management within electrical, power, industrial, or manufacturing environments
- Proven track record managing technically complex, made-to-order or engineered equipment projects
- Strong working knowledge of power transformers, switchgear, or electrical distribution systems
- Experience coordinating engineering, manufacturing, and external stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage customer expectations and executive updates
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Background supporting transformer manufacturing, electrical OEMs, EPC firms, or power infrastructure suppliers
- Experience with factory acceptance testing (FAT), logistics coordination, and field support activities
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Familiarity with utility, data center, industrial, or renewable power projects
