Now Hiring: Highway / Bridge Resident Engineer (PE Required)

Location: Central New Jersey

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Highway / Bridge Resident Engineer to join our growing team in Central New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to oversee impactful transportation infrastructure projects and collaborate with a dynamic group of engineering professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site Resident Engineer for highway and bridge construction projects
• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and regulations
• Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control
• Prepare daily reports and maintain project documentation
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (New York or ability to obtain)
• 8 years of experience in highway and/or bridge construction inspection/management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with construction management software and reporting tools
