A growing firm on the Main Line is seeking a Paralegal with immigration experience for a full time position. This role is onsite in Berwyn.
All levels of experience will be considered. Candidates must be bilingual in English/Spanish.
Role will involve the following:
- Process assigned immigration benefit applications (e.g., green cards, work permits).
- Assist attorneys with removal defense cases. This includes preparing applications for relief, gathering evidence, and filing court documents.
- Help prepare and file all types of immigration petitions and applications with supporting documents.
- Organize client information, analyze case details, and identify potential issues for the attorney.
- Develop case strategies with the attorney.
- Manage client files, track deadlines, and oversee the progress of various immigration cases.
- Communicate with clients and government agencies via letters, emails, and phone calls.
- Translate documents and provide interpretation for clients during office meetings.
- Respond to requests for additional evidence from the government.
