Network Manager
My client has a full time opening for a Network Manager. This role is on site to start and offers hybrid options after a few months. Position requires a highly experienced Network/Telecom Engineer to lead and manage the enterprise's Cisco-centric infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management:
- Design, implement, and support complex Cisco networking and telecom systems (MPLS, voice, data).
- Maintain and optimize network performance, security, and reliability.
- Manage PBXs, ACDs, ALGs, SBCs, and related technologies.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:
- Diagnose and resolve complex network issues (TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, QoS, MPLS, SIP).
- Analyze IP and SIP endpoint/trunk issues.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship:
- Lead and mentor junior networking staff.
- Build and maintain a high-performing team.
- Project Management:
- Plan, design, and implement telecom solutions.
- Manage budgets and project timelines.
- Document all changes and network configurations.
- Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for issue resolution and service provisioning.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce security standards.
- Maintain compliance with all networking and telecom related regulations.
- 7 years of hands-on networking/telecom experience.
- Extensive Cisco expertise (routers, switches, Nexus, ASAs).
- Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, QoS, MPLS, SIP, SDWAN, and DMVPN.
- 5 years of management and leadership experience.
- Cisco Voice and CCNP or higher certifications.
- Experience with PALO firewalls and load balancers.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with CCUX Enterprise and CISCO Unity.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
