What are the responsibilities and job description for the Municipal Right-to-Know Paralegal position at Liberty Personnel Services, Inc.?
Job Details:
Municipal Right-to-Know Paralegal - Own high-impact public records work
Newtown, PA - Hybrid
Help municipalities get transparency and compliance right
You’ll be the go-to Right-to-Know Law resource for attorneys and municipal clients who rely on you to get public records matters right the first time.
From the first request to the last appeal, you’ll be in the middle of the action on Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law issues, shaping what gets disclosed, what gets protected, and how fast it all happens.
You won’t just push paper – you’ll touch substantive public-sector legal work, work closely with attorneys, and directly support municipal decision-makers.
If you’ve handled RTKL or complex public records work and want to go deeper, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Work On
You’ll focus on Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law matters for municipal and government-related clients, supporting attorneys across the full life cycle of public records issues.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ve already handled Pennsylvania RTKL requests from intake through response, and you understand how to spot exemptions, apply redactions, and document your decisions. You don’t shy away from tight timelines, high stakes, or complex municipal fact patterns.
Maybe you’ve supported appeals before the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records or worked in a municipal or government setting where public records issues were part of your daily rhythm. You’re comfortable acting as the connective tissue between attorneys, municipal staff, and agencies.
Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law (RTKL)
This is a chance to specialize in a niche that few paralegals truly master: Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, public records, and municipal work.
You’ll work closely with attorneys, have direct impact on how municipalities respond to the public, and build a reputation as a trusted RTKL resource.
If you’re an experienced paralegal who wants substantive, visible public-sector work instead of routine files, this role puts you at the center of the action.
Interested?
If you’re ready to own Pennsylvania Right-to-Know work and deepen your municipal and public-sector expertise, we’d like to see your background.
