A client of ours is seeking a Lead Software Engineer, where you'll help shape the future of enterprise software platforms while remaining hands-on with architecture and development. This role is ideal for a senior technical leader who enjoys solving complex challenges, influencing engineering direction, and mentoring teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy and architectural decisions for large-scale applications
• Design scalable solutions across cloud, application, and data environments
• Guide engineering teams on software design, development standards, and delivery practices
• Drive improvements in system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, and business teams on key initiatives
• Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence across the organization
  
  

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building and scaling enterprise software platforms
• Strong background with Java-based technologies; .NET exposure is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Knowledge of modern DevOps and automated deployment practices
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience in healthcare, finance, supply chain, or other complex business environments is a plus
