• Evaluate and pilot modern technologies across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including cloud WAN, SD-WAN, SASE, SDN, network virtualization, intent-based networking, and hybrid connectivity.
• Drive network automation, infrastructure as code, telemetry, observability, and application-aware traffic engineering.
• Build proofs of concept and prototypes to validate new designs before enterprise rollout.
• Lead architecture reviews and keep projects aligned with technical, security, and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical direction for complex network projects, cloud migrations, and legacy modernization.
• Weigh trade-offs in scalability, availability, performance, security, and cost, and manage the risks of new technology.
• Present recommendations to engineers, managers, and executive leadership.
• Qualifications**
• Significant experience in network infrastructure engineering and architecture.
• A track record of designing and supporting large, complex, global enterprise networks.
• Strong enterprise networking, cloud networking, telecom, and hybrid infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Working knowledge of SD-WAN, SASE, SDN, network automation, IaC, and network observability.
• Experience leading network modernization, cloud or infrastructure transformation, and architecture governance.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks, technology standards, and policy requirements.
• The ability to influence technical and business leaders, with strong communication and leadership skills.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or technology-focused MBA is preferred.
