Field Service Engineer Opportunity - Remote with travel

We're seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to handle on-site installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specs and coordinate field activities for successful delivery.
• Perform instrument calibration, hardware checks, software debugging, and customer training.
• Maintain accurate records, implement modifications, and advise on project changes.
• Participate in site safety meetings and assist with equipment returns.
  
  

Requirements:

• Proficiency with personal computers, industrial programming devices, and controls.
• Basic knowledge of HMI and PLC programming.
• Exposure to electronics or electrical work through education or experience.
• Ability to perform component sizing calculations and work within timelines/budgets.
• Degree in Engineering (or pursuing) with 2 years experience, or 4 years related experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• 50% travel with overnight stays.
  
  

Working Situation:

This position is a remote position that will be traveling to sites throughout Ohio. This position can be based anywhere in Ohio, ideally near Toledo or centrally located.
