Civil Engineer (Land Development / Municipal Projects)

Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join a growing engineering consulting team supporting a wide range of public and private sector projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on land development, municipal infrastructure, and transportation-related design projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and support civil engineering projects including land development, site design, and municipal infrastructure
• Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for public and private projects
• Assist with roadway, drainage, and utility (water/wastewater/stormwater) design
• Coordinate with municipalities, counties, and state agencies to meet regulatory requirements
• Support project management, permitting, and construction administration efforts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including survey, planning, and construction staff
• Review and analyze technical data, reports, and design calculations
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
• EIT required; PE or ability to obtain preferred
• 2 years of experience in civil design, land development, or municipal engineering
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or OpenRoads preferred
• Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and utility design principles
• Familiarity with DOT or municipal standards is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
