Embedded C Software Engineer (Contract) - ONSITE

***THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION***

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Embedded C Software Engineer contractor to contribute to the design and development of complex, scalable, and high-performance software systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in C/C development, embedded environments, and database architecture.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Advanced proficiency in C and C , with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming and systems-level development
• Demonstrated experience with database layer design, including requirements gathering, architecture, implementation, and deployment
• Expertise in SQL and database design for scalability; object-oriented database experience is preferred
• Proven ability to architect modular, maintainable, and scalable software solutions
• Hands-on experience developing in embedded environments, including VxWorks and Windows Embedded
• Solid understanding of communication protocols and real-time system constraints
