Electrical Project Manager – Electrical Construction- Electrical Contracting

This role will manage electrical construction projects—primarily commercial/industrial—ranging from approximately $100K to $3M in value.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple electrical construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality expectations are met.
- Apply strong working knowledge of electrical construction methods, processes, and best practices.
- Perform accurate take-offs and develop project scopes, budgets, manpower plans, and schedules.
- Handle project layout and coordination with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Communicate effectively with customers to define project scope, address deficiencies, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong long-term relationships.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely issue resolution.
- Provide responsive customer service while maintaining high standards of professionalism and organization.
- Oversee project financials including cost tracking, forecasting, and billing.
- Approximately four (4) or more years of electrical contracting project management experience within commercial or industrial electrical construction.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with electrical estimating software (AccuBid, ConEst, McCormick, EBM, OST, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, field personnel, and internal staff.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong customer-service mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
