A growing and highly respected multidisciplinary MEP consulting engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with two or more years of building systems design experience to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial, healthcare, institutional, higher education, and industrial projects while developing technical expertise and advancing toward professional licensure.
The successful candidate will collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers to design innovative, energy-efficient electrical systems while contributing to projects from concept through construction.

- Assist in the design of electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, institutional, and industrial facilities
- Perform electrical load calculations and assist with power system analysis
- Support energy code compliance reviews and sustainable design initiatives
- Develop and modify engineering drawings and models using Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinate designs with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural project teams
- Participate in project meetings, site visits, and field investigations
- Assist with construction administration activities including RFIs, submittal reviews, and field observations
- Support project managers with project execution, scheduling, and coordination efforts
- Research applicable codes, standards, and emerging technologies
- Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to expand technical knowledge and professional skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum two (2) years of experience designing building electrical systems within an MEP consulting environment
- Experience with power distribution, lighting, and building electrical systems design
- Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IBC, IECC, and related building codes
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification/progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Experience with AGi32, SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, or similar software
- Experience supporting healthcare, higher education, commercial, or institutional projects
