EHS Specialist

Growing, family owned global leader in friction particle development and coatings manufacturing is seeking an EHS Specialist to support plant operations by driving safety initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a culture of health and environmental responsibility. This role will oversee risk assessments, audits, training, and sustainability efforts while serving as a key resource for employees and leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Champion continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental programs
• Guide and train employees on compliance, safety awareness, and emergency protocols
• Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations with detailed reporting
• Oversee environmental initiatives including waste management and pollution prevention
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety risks and implement corrective actions
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, environmental science, or related field (Master’s a plus)
• 2 years of EHS, loss prevention, or safety management experience
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel up to 15%
