Civil Site Engineer – Northern Virginia
We're seeking a Civil Site Engineer to join a growing engineering team in Northern Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with 2–20 years of experience who are passionate about land development and site design. You'll work on a variety of commercial, residential, mixed-use, and municipal projects from concept through construction.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare site development plans, grading, drainage, utility, and erosion & sediment control designs.
- Perform site layout, stormwater management, and utility design using Civil 3D.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and permit applications.
- Assist with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Support construction administration and respond to field-related questions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects.
Qualifications:
- 2–20 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in land development.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- EIT or PE license preferred, but not required.
