Job Title: Civil Site Engineer – Land Development & Stormwater (0–5 Years Experience)

Job Description:

We are looking for a Civil Site Engineer with 0–5 years of experience in land development and stormwater design to join our team. This role involves supporting the planning, design, and execution of site development projects, with a strong focus on drainage and stormwater management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of site plans for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects
• Prepare grading, drainage, and stormwater management plans
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater systems
• Support erosion and sediment control design and permitting
• Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, and regulatory agencies
• Review construction drawings and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
• Conduct site visits and assist with construction phase support
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 0–5 years of experience in land development and/or stormwater design (internships included)
• Familiarity with hydrology and drainage principles
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred
• Knowledge of stormwater modeling tools (e.g., HydroCAD, HEC-RAS, SWMM) is a plus
• Understanding of local, state, and federal permitting processes is a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification or on track to obtain
• Experience preparing technical reports and design calculations
