Civil Engineer – Land Development / Site Design
📍 Reading, PA Area | Full-Time | Competitive Salary Benefits
We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with land development and site design experience to join a growing engineering team supporting projects throughout the Reading, PA region. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Prepare site layout, grading, drainage, erosion & sediment control, and utility plans
🔹 Perform stormwater management design and calculations
🔹 Coordinate with municipalities and regulatory agencies for permits and approvals
🔹 Support project managers with technical design and client coordination
🔹 Review plans, specifications, and reports for accuracy and compliance
🔹 Conduct occasional site visits and construction support
Qualifications:
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
✅ 2–8 years of land development / site design experience
✅ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
✅ Knowledge of Pennsylvania codes, ordinances, and permitting processes
✅ Strong understanding of grading, drainage, and stormwater design
✅ EIT required; PE or PE-track preferred
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills
